Our Data Center

The Data Center facility housing our web server is equipped with state of the art facilities. The Network Operation Center (NOC) offers complete redundancy in power, HVAC, fire suppression, network connectivity, and security.

Power. Our Data Center is one of the few facilities able to support even your most power dense applications. Power is dual fed from the grid and protected though our redundant paralleled power system, configured with an additional full wrap-around bypass for extra redundancy (we are able to take the system offline for any type of internal maintenance without dropping power to the facility). The UPS system is backed up by a state of the art parallel generator system with multiple generators running in N+1 format. These are computer controlled and automated. The generators have 150 gallon day tanks fed from redundant pumps from our 12,000 gallon reserve tank. The system is powered by state of the art by Cummins turbocharged generators and digital fuel management system by Simplex and Veeder-Root.

Fire Protection. Fire suppression includes a pre-action dry pipe system including VESDA (very early smoke detection apparatus). If a sprinkler head is set off by an actual fire water is deployed to the affected zone only. The system is monitored through the building management system. The floors are all equipped with floor drains on 20 foot centers that drain the building in case of any water.

Security. The security at our Data Center is unrivaled. With a 10 foot razor fence, keycarded entry, and a security system that includes redundant security camera servers, biometric handprint scanning, and trained security guards, our colocation services is one of the fastest and safest USA. The connection at our colocation facility is sitting directly on one of AGL's main fiber backbones, and is part of a metro ethernet ring based on Extreme Networks 10 gig technology.

Connectivity. The network is fully meshed and redundant with 6 backbone providers- ATT (OC3), UUNet (OC3), Genuity (OC3), InterNap (2x100Mbps), Qwest (1Gbps), and Cogent Communications (5x100Mbps).

Server Specs. Dual Intel Xeon Quad Core  2.53 Gigahertz, 8 Gigabytes of RAM, clustered server setup with stand-by replicating and mirrored server ready to kick in action within few seconds once server monitoring software detects hardware or connection failure from Main Server. 99.9% uptime guaranteed.
